Dollar Tree carries stretched canvases in a variety of different sizes and shapes. In the Plus section, you can also find larger canvases.

Get creative and paint a face onto your canvas. Add in greenery for a pop of color, and you have created a snowman piece of art!

If your not comfortable painting faces, you could find an image on Cricut Design Space and use vinyl.

This post contains affiliate links, if you purchase through these links, I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you. Thank you for your support!
Dollar Tree carries seasonal fabric rolls, typically in the Crafters Square section of the store. But you have to get them when you see them, because they go fast. I love coming up with new ideas to use them, other than sewing. I am not an advanced sewer, at best I can make a basic stitch.😂
Below you will find 7 fall projects you can make using these Dollar Tree fabric hacks. Each one is budget friendly, easy to make, and a fun way to express your creativity.
01|Vase
Create a fall bouquet to place inside a glass mason jar. To elevate the jar, mod podge a piece of fabric around the middle.

For an added touch, cut out the shape of a pumpkin in the center of the fabric, and fill the jar with mini pine cones.

I love the rustic look of this! It would look great sitting on an end table or use it as a centerpiece.
02|Thankful Sign
I couldn’t resist buying this beautiful fabric with mushrooms and leaves on it. At first I wasn’t sure what to do with it. Then it dawned on me that it would make a gorgeous sign.

By simply hot gluing the fabric to a piece of cardboard I traced out into the shape of a pumpkin, and adding a faux leather word to the front, I can now display this beautiful fabric all season long.
03|Busted Canvas
Have you heard of a busted canvas, or punched canvas? I have seen them all over social media this year. I decided to make one for the fall season by using fabric on the backside of the canvas. That’s the plaid you see peeling forward showing the pumpkin image behind it.

If you would like to know the step by step instructions on how to create your own punched canvas, check out my YouTube video at the end of this post.

I can’t wait to make some of these for Christmas!
04|Layered Pumpkin
Decoupaging napkins or tissue paper to Dollar Tree signs can give it an entirely new look. But did you know you can decoupage fabric too?

This beautiful orange fabric with pumpkin and flowers designs has to be one of my favorite fabric finds at Dollar Tree. I painted the pumpkin white and decoupaged the fabric to the layered portions of the sign.

05|Fabric Art
Because I love that fabric so much, I turned into a piece of art.

Find a frame that looks well with your fabric. You can either decoupage to the backing of the frame, or use hot glue to secure it to the backing.

If you use hot glue, make sure to do small sections at a time so you can keep the fabric as tight as possible.
06|Wood Plaque
Make a simple wood plaque to display on an end table, book shelf, or even a tiered tray.

The frayed edges on this piece really help with the rustic feel I was going for.

You could also use fabric to create coasters. I think this design would make gorgeous coasters for fall.
07|Mini Tag
Sometimes you find a playful design on fabric that just makes you smile. Like this project!

Attach your fabric to a small tag sign, add a bow and pine cones, to create a cute door hanger, or to embellish a gift.

I hope you enjoyed these projects! If you have a favorite, leave me a comment below.
