Turn this, into this, with just a few easy steps!

This Easter decor piece will brighten your home for the holiday, and the best thing is…. it only costs a few dollars to make.

Follow this easy step by step guide to recreate your version.

Using a

Pull the ends in opposite directions until you have the size circle at the bottom you want. I recommend removing a bead from one end and closing the wire, this will give you a little space for the next step.

Twist the two overlapping pieces twice.

This will keep the wire tight at the top of your circle. Then you will be able to create the ears.

Pull the end of one piece down until it lines up with the first bead on the circle on that side.

Repeat the same process on the other side. Starting with the end you removed one bead from, bend the wire and tuck the wire end into the first bead on the circle, so it will stay in place. See the right side of the image below.

On the other side, you could do the same as the previous step, or you could place a piece of floral wire through the loop.

Twist the floral wire tightly between the first and second bead of the circle, on the same side as the ear you are creating. Your bunny should be looking like this……See below.

I wanted to add a

To create a messy bow, cut 4 pieces of each of your ribbon and dovetail the ends. Place each of the ribbon on top of one another alternating the ribbon colors.

Tie the ribbon pieces in the center using a piece of twine. Wrap the twine a few times around the ribbon bow and place the greenery behind the bow and tie it in the back. Don’t cut your excess twine of yet.

Pull one end of the twine through one ear and the other end through the other ear.

Tie a double knot in the back of the bead bunny. Still don’t cut your excess twine off yet ❤️

This is optional, but I decided to hot glue a flower in the center of the bow.

Grab one of Dollar Tree’s picture frames. This particular one measures 11 3/4″ X 7 3/4″. Remove everything from the frame. If you don’t like the color of your frame, give it a coat of paint.

You can use the cardboard backing of the frame if you like. This frame had the hanger piece on it, so I decided to cut out a piece of foam board. Paint it the color of your choice. I chose a pastel pink.

After allowing the paint to dry, place this into the frame along with the backing. I did not replace the glass.

Once you have decided on the placement of the bead bunny, make two marks on the cardboard (foam board) on each side of where the ears meet the circle.

Using a small drill bit, drill where you placed your marks.

Feed each end of the twine through the respective holes.

Double knot the twine in the back of the frame and cut your excess twine off.

Viola!
