With these tips and tricks you will be able to turn an ordinary Dollar Tree canvas into a beautiful piece of Christmas decor. The best part is, each project is easy to do, and affordable.

Dollar Tree carries stretched canvases in a variety of different sizes and shapes. In the Plus section, you can also find larger canvases.
Snowman Canvas
Remove the canvas from the wooden frame and staple it behind the frame. This is called a reverse canvas. Using wooden pieces you can find at Dollar Tree, attach to the top of the frame to form a hat. Get creative and paint a face onto your canvas. Add in greenery for a pop of color, and you have created a snowman piece of art!

If your not comfortable painting faces, you could find an image on Cricut Design Space and use vinyl.

Light Up Christmas Art
Reuse a Christmas gift bag by attaching it to a stretched canvas.

Poke tiny holes, add fairy lights to the back to light your piece of art up at night.

You can find the video instructions on each of these projects HERE.
Dollar Tree Canvas Christmas Art

Paint the outside edge of the canvas in a coordinating color.

Cinnamon Stick Christmas Tree
Wrap a Dollar Tree canvas with a musical sheet of scrap book paper. Glue cinnamon sticks in the shape of a tree. Top it with a wooden star.

Beautiful and smells delicious!
